31 weeks

I'm 31 weeks! Only 2 months to go :)

Things are going well. I'm feeling pretty good, besides a few weeks of really bad leg cramps and being tired all the time.

We've started getting the nursery ready. We have the crib all set up, and it makes it feel a lot more "real" every time I walk by the room. I think we've decided on Parker Andrew Heimbach. Or maybe I decided and Christian conceded :)

We finished our labor and newborn classes last weekend. Christian learned how to swaddle and diaper a baby. He's pretty proud of his swaddling skills!

24 weeks

Hi!

As Kelly pointed out on myspace, I've been a bit behind on my posts :) Sorry! I've been busy at work the last two weeks. But today we are snowed in, so I have plenty of time to write.

I'm 24 1/2 weeks now -- only 3 1/2 months to go! The baby is moving allot now and Christian is able to feel him every once in a while. We haven't decided on a name yet, Christian doesn't like to talk about it -- he thinks he gets to name the baby by himself :) But right now we're between Parker and Justin. I like Parker the best, but I'm not sure which way he's leaning.

I have the bedding set (and it is so cute!), but we still need to get a crib and finish clearing out the nursery. Once I start setting things up I'll post pictures of it. We really do have the most perfect room for a nursery!

It's a . . .

Our ultrasound was this morning, and we found out that it's a BOY! Everything looked the way it should and is progressing properly.

We made our first baby purchase this weekend! We bought a really nice stroller that I've been looking at for a while now. I was so excited to get it out of the way (for some reason the stroller was the one purchase I was stressing about the most!)

18 weeks . . .

Hi friends and family! Since I’m so far away, I thought I’d keep an online journal so everyone can stay updated as to the progress of the pregnancy and baby. (And so you can all watch me grow to the size of a house!)

I’m currently 18 weeks along. I’m finally really showing, and people I haven’t told are starting to ask if I’m pregnant. The morning sickness is going away, however I now have horrible acid reflux which causes me to become nauseous anyways, so I’m not quite sure if things are really better. The good news is that I have more energy now and I’ve started to go to the gym. My goal is three times a week – we’ll see how that goes!

My next ultra sound is February 4th, and that’s when we get to find out if we’re having a girl or boy! Christian doesn’t want to find out, but I do, so I’m sure he’ll figure it out eventually when I start buying pink or blue stuff.
